The MIEM – Multitouch Interfaces for Electroacoustic Music – project aims at researching and developing optimal touch applications for controlling synthesisers, filters, sound spatialisation, etc.
The last outcomes of this ongoing project are two open-source and free applications: MIEM Play and MIEM Spat. They are available for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android.
MIEM Play is an OSC controller, which is able to interpolate and create multi-parameters presets from touch gestures and custom geometric shapes.
MIEM Spat is a special version of the Controller, which is dedicated and optimized for amplitude-based sound spatialisation.
